Graz!

We had a lovely time walking around Graz...

Me and the Asian.

This is Lloyd. He is getting me really really wet. Mika seems to be enjoying herself.
After playing sports all day with the YSA-ers of Austria and some of Germany we made a trip to get ice cream in the rain.

We also climbed the hill of Graz to look over the city....I think every town in Austria has hill and is built on a river...I love it!

The rooftops of Graz

The clock tower on top of the hill.

All of Graz....it's looks pretty big from here but it's not a big city compared to US standards...

Friends we met on the hike....they were kind enough to let us take a picture with them. We forced Lloyd to ask them in German....later realizing they spoke English and probably heard us the whole time anyway...

It's so interesting to see hundreds of year old buildings along-side new weird looking bridges...

This was the train track up the hill....kinda dark but pretty

A church of Graz...

We stayed with a family in the ward in Graz. They had the cutest kids I have ever seen. This was Nathanial. He was four and his dad served a mission in England so his dad spoke English to him and his mom spoke to him in German. The result was a darling little boy who could understand us but wouldn't always speak back in English...the mixture of four year old German and English was absolutely the cutest thing EVER!

Another church....

Twilight....I can't get away from it...this was an advertisement for a triple feature....all three movies on one night....I can't even imagine...

More of the town...

The modern art museum....it really did not fit in...

Ale. If you were wearing your tie dye t-shirt, you totally would have fit in with the artwork.

In the picture looking down those stairs there's some writing on the wall to the left... Is that blood?

I'm pretty sure it's just graffiti Jason....I think I'm going to have to agree with Meryl on this one....Halo is seeping into every aspect of your life!....and yes Meryl....tie-dye blends with everything!
